The item I want is out of stock. When will it be back?

Restock times can vary depending on the product. We recommend checking back regularly, as new stock is added as soon as it becomes available.

Which size is right for me?

For sizing information, click the “Size Chart” link on each product page. Please pay close attention to the measurements to avoid ordering the wrong size.

I can’t find the style, colour or size I’m looking for.

The styles, colours, and sizes available in the online shop reflect what we currently have in stock. We are constantly restocking popular products, so please check the website regularly.

How should I care for my garment?

Your English Fine Cottons garment will last longer with a little care. Please refer to our full care instructions for detailed guidance.

Where does your cotton come from?

Our luxury cotton comes mainly from California, with some variants sourced from India and Australia.

What is the difference between normal cotton and Supima cotton?

Supima cotton is an extra-long staple cotton grown in California. It is known for its superior strength, softness, and durability compared to regular cotton.

Where are your garments made?

All our garments are made from start to finish in the UK. Visit our heritage section to learn more about our production process.

Do your garments shrink in the wash?

Our fabrics are pre-shrunk during finishing to minimise further shrinkage. Any shrinkage should be minimal if care instructions are followed. We recommend washing at no more than 30°C and avoiding tumble drying or high heat.

What will appear on my bank statement?

Your statement will be marked as SP * ENGLISHFINECOTTON.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept most major credit and debit cards.

Delivery

Do you offer free delivery?

Yes, we offer free delivery on all orders within mainland UK.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are dispatched the next working day and typically arrive within 1–2 working days. Please allow extra time during weekends and public holidays.

How will I track my order?

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking email from DPD so you can follow your delivery.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. For international delivery enquiries, please contact websales@englishfinecottons.co.uk.

What should I do if my order hasn’t arrived?

Please contact us at websales@englishfinecottons.co.uk and we will help investigate your order.

 

Returns, Refunds & Faults

What is your returns policy?

If you are not satisfied with your order, you may return items within 14 days of receiving your order for a refund, provided they are in original, unworn, and unused condition with all packaging and tags intact.

How do I start a return?

Please contact us at websales@englishfinecottons.co.uk. We will provide return instructions and the returns address.

Who pays for return shipping?

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked and insured service, as items remain your responsibility until they reach us.

How long do refunds take?

Once your return is received and inspected, refunds are processed within 5–10 working days, and no later than 14 days in line with UK consumer law. Refunds are issued to your original payment method.

What items cannot be returned?

Bespoke, personalised, or custom-made items cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty.

What should I do if my order is damaged on arrival?

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs and full details so we can resolve the issue.

What if my item is faulty or incorrect?

Please email websales@englishfinecottons.co.uk and we will assist you with a replacement or refund.
