Which size is right for me?

For sizing information click the 'Size Chart' link on each product page. Please pay close attention to the measurements to help avoid mistakes.

 

I can’t find the style, colour or size I’m looking for.

The styles, colours and sizes available in the online shop reflect what we currently have in stock – and we are constantly restocking popular products, so keep a look out on the website.  If you have a special order, contact us and we may be able to help.

 

Can I buy your products in any retail stores?

Currently, you can only buy English Fine Cottons products at www.englishfinecottons.co.uk

 

How should I care for my garment?

Your English Fine Cottons garment will look good for longer if you lavish it with a little TLC! See our comprehensive care information here.

 

Where does our cotton come from?

Our luxury cotton comes mainly from California.  Some comes from India and some from Australia. Find out all about our cotton and where it comes from here.

 

What is the difference between the normal cotton and Supima cotton?

Supima cotton is an extra-long-staple form of cotton grown in California. The difference is in its strength and softness. For more information about Supima cotton and cotton in general, visit our website.

 

Where are your garments made?

All our garments are made, from start to finish, right here in the UK.  To find out more about our company and how our garments are made, visit our website.

 

Do your garments shrink in the wash?

English Fine Cottons fabrics are all pre-shrunk in the finishing process, which reduces the possibility of further shrinkage. Any shrinkage should be minimal. Please take some time to read our comprehensive care instructions before washing your garments – you have to be careful not to wash them in water above above 30°C and never tumble dry them.  Avoid extreme heat altogether.

 

Can your packaging be recycled?

Yes, in line with our environmental policy most of our packaging is biodegradable. Most can be recycled or is made from recycled materials. We avoid using polythene bags altogether.

 

What currency are your prices in?

Our prices are in pounds sterling.

 

Do you offer gift cards?

How long before my order is despatched?

If we have your item in stock, your order will be despatched the same day if it’s placed before 12 noon on a working day. Stock items placed after 12 noon are usually shipped the next working day.

 

I need to cancel my order.

Under Distance Selling Regulations, you have a right to cancel your order within seven working days of receiving your purchase. Please notify us in writing within the seven days that you wish to cancel your full order and that you intend to return the garment(s) – we will offer you a full refund, minus the original postage and packing charge, as soon as we receive the goods back.  Cancellation is also subject to our normal refund policy.

 

My order has arrived damaged, what should I do?

Please let us know of any damage to your item and/or the packaging. Email websales@englishfinecottons.co.uk and we’ll advise you of your next steps.

How do I return or exchange an item?

We don’t exchange items, but it’s simple to return unwanted items, free of charge. We would suggest if you want to exchange an item, you return your order and place another order for the item(s) you want.

Will you refund my postage costs to return an item?

How long does a refund take?

We’ll let you know that we’ve received your returned item(s) and that we have processed your exchange or refund.

If you paid by PayPal, you’ll receive confirmation from PayPal and from us that your refund has been processed and funds returned to your account.

If you paid by card, you’ll receive a refund notification from us.  Individual banks vary, but you should expect to see the refund in your bank account within 7 working days after our notification.

 

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept most credit and debit cards and also accept PayPal payments.

 

I'm unable to access my account?

If you've forgotten your password, click the 'Forgot your password' link on the account login page and you'll be sent a password reset link to your registered email address.
