Herringbone Shirting

Product Description

Made in the UK from start to finish.

The herringbone weave gets its name from its resemblance to the skeleton of the herring fish. Fine herringbone shirting has the same luxurious look and feel as fine twill fabrics.  And despite its natural lustre, silky softness and drape, herringbone shirting fabric is a great practical choice because it also offers durability and wrinkle resistance.

Our herringbone fabric is made using combed 2-ply 100s yarn, spun from extra-long-staple Californian Pima cotton at our mill in Manchester. It’s woven locally to produce a lustrously soft fabric.
